Confidentiality Assured

We respect your right to confidentiality. Information you supply to us is stored securely and never passed on to a third party. We do not sell your details on, we do not send you junk mail, and our order computer systems are not connected to the internet. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list, please let us know at any time, we will be happy to oblige.

Warranty

Goods are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for one calendar year from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to repair the product or replace it, or to replace it with an item of similar value should the original item be discontinued from our product line.
Neglect, abuse, normal wear & tear, corrosion, tip breakage, accidental damage, spoilage, disassembly, sharpening, or loss (or partial loss) are excluded. Liability arising from a manufacturers lifetime warranty rests solely with the manufacturer, and we will not be held liable for any costs.

The Sale of Knives

It is an offence for any person under the age of 16 years to purchase most kinds of knives. However, we shall only supply knives and related equipment to customers over the age of 18 years. The sale of knives is regulated by the Laws of England, and subject exclusively to our Terms & Conditions of Sale, a full copy of which is available upon request.
We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we have reasonable cause to believe that the prospective customer is below the age of 18 years, or if we believe that the supply of goods to the prospective customer may infringe the Laws of England or present an unacceptable potential risk to the safety of others.
Our aim at Colonial Knives is to promote the safe use and collecting of high quality handcrafted cutlery. For this reason, we always take steps to ensure that our knives and tools are promoted in a responsible manner. If you have a complaint about the way in which we market any of our products please give us the chance to explain or correct our marketing plan. Prices & Specification

We have taken every effort to ensure that the graphical representations of the products offered for sale, and their dimensions & description, are an accurate reflection of the goods themselves. Errors & omissions are exempt.
Our prices include VAT at the current rate of 17½%. Special offer prices are only valid whilst current stocks last.

Knife Safety

Your knife is a tool, treat it with care and use it with respect. A knife is an inanimate object ... it won't hurt you. But a blunt or carelessly handled knife can cause injury. Keep a keen edge on your blade and exercise caution when sharpening. Use your knife with due care and attention, as you would with any other tool, and never use a knife for a purpose for which it is not intended nor specifically designed.
Never threaten anybody with a knife (even as a joke), as this is a serious Criminal Offence. And never leave your knife where it may be accessible to a child, and keep it stored securely: preferably in a sheath or case.

Knives & Children

The knives we sell are not toys, and not suitable for use by children. It is our policy only to send brochures out to customers over the age of 18.
